The genesis of the current U.S. Optics commercial off the shelf product line is rooted in custom scopes built to satisfy the needs of military and law enforcement personnel, competitive shooters and hunters. The models that make up the commercial product line were chosen because of an overwhelmingly similar ordering pattern for specific features and magnification ranges. There is very little difference between commercial products and a custom-built optic. All products come off of the same production lines and are assembled by the same skilled technicians who build every custom scope.
