Weatherby Mark V - Backcountry - 280 Ackley Improved - 24.0" - w/ Leupold VX-3HD 4.5-14x40 - SFP - CDS-ZL Side Focus Wind-Plex:Precision Optics Complete Package:
Guaranteed Sub-MoA AccuracyAll Mark V rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99 inch or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition.Triggertech TriggerTriggerTechs trigger provides true zero-creep break, extremely short over-travel, and is externally adjustable. Precision cut stainless steel components ensure consistent trigger pulls from shot to shot in a safe, reliable, and corrosion resistant package.Accubrake STBy adding an Accubrake you will significantly reduce felt recoil up to 53 percent54 Degree BoltThe shortest in the industry (as compared to typical 90 bolt throw). Allows for faster chambering on follow-up shots and greater bolt-to-scope clearance.Carbon Fiber StockAG Composites proprietary manufacturing process provides excellent stiffness and lightweight attributes from carefully selected materials. The stocks are also impervious to environmental factors and will offer predictable, reliable performance.3D Hex Recoil ReducerLarge caliber felt recoil dissipation provided in the lightest recoil reducer available. 3DHEX is a patent pending high strength energy diffusing lattice structure designed to distribute specific directional forces and reduce muzzle lift.Cerakote FinishCerakote is the industry leading thin film ceramic coating. The Cerakote unique formula enhances physical properties including wear, corrosion, and chemical resistance while improving impact strengths, and hardness.Technical System:

280 Remington Ackley Improved:One of P.O. Ackley's earliest wildcats was the 7mm-06 Improved, which was made by necking down the .30-06 Springfield case and fire-forming it to have less body taper and a 40-degree shoulder angle. Soon after the .280 Remington came out, Fred Huntington reformed its case to an improved configuration with minimum body taper, a 35-degree shoulder angle, and called it the .280 RCBS. Since cases for the .280 RCBS could be formed by firing .280 Remington ammo in a rifle chambered for the former, Ackley abandoned the 7mm-06 Improved and started chambering rifles for the .280 RCBS. He then changed the 35-degree shoulder to 40-degrees and the .280 Ackley Improved was born. If barrel length and chamber pressure are equal, the .280 Ackley Improved is about 100 fps faster with all bullet weights than the standard .280 Remington. In 2007, ammunition manufacturer Nosler registered the .280 Ackley Improved with SAAMI and began providing factory loaded ammunition and rifles for itSuggested Use:
