With their innovative Leica High Lux Pro (HLP) lens system, the Leica Televid HD spotting scopes offer unrivaled light transmission for unique observation moments. This improved optical system guarantees the best image brightness, unmatched color neutrality, extra-high contrasts, and a particularly large field of view. Together with their ergonomic design, they provide the ideal conditions for relaxed observation and documentation in the great outdoors.
The dual focus, for coarse and fine adjustment, details can be focused with greater ease, speed, and precision. The front focusing wheel is used for fine adjustment, while the larger one at rear is used for general, rapid focusing. From tiny insects at close range, starting at 2.9 meters, to birds at greatest distances, the Leica dual focus enables the most detailed observation and documentation of wildlife in the finest resolution and remarkable sharpness.
The rubber-armored magnesium housing of the Leica Televid HD spotting scopes combines extreme ruggedness and functional design. Together with the extensive range of Leica accessories, the Televid HD becomes the core of a unique digiscoping system for use with a camera or a smartphone.
With the optionally available Leica extender 1.8x, birders and nature observers can get even closer to special moments and recognize details over the greatest distances. Using the Leica extender 1.8x increases the magnification range of the Televid HD models by a factor of 1.8. In combination with the Leica eyepiece, magnifications of up to 108x are possible - for outstanding observation of details at maximum distances.
