Vanguard - Endeavor RS - 4-12x40mm - SFP Duplex Reticle - 41240D:
Vanguard's take on a popular and versatile scope configuration, the 4-12x40 Endeavor RS Riflescope is ideal for big-game hunting at medium to long-range. Its max 12x magnification allows for longer shots over open terrain versus the lower magnification model, while the 40mm objective gives the scope enhanced low-light performance over smaller objectives while reducing the bulk and snag-potential often associated with larger lenses. Complementing the zoom and objective is the use of HOYA extra low-dispersion (ED) glass to correct for chromatic and spherical aberration, and anti-reflection multicoating's to produce images that are bright, crisp, and clear with true color rendition.
The reticle is situated on the rear (second) focal plane, and features a crosshair design so that the thin center hairs will provide precision aiming without obstructing distant targets. To get you on-target faster, the covered turrets feature 1/4 MOA per click impact point correction with a total of 57 MOA windage and elevation adjustment range. A Rapid Focus Eyepiece and a simple-to-use zoom collar allow for fast and easy transition from one subject to the next or for accurate tracking of moving targets.
Designed to withstand the rigors of the wild, the housing is made of T6061 aluminum alloy with a 1" one-piece main-tube, and a corrosion and scratch resistant anodized finish. It is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and fog proof in all but the most extreme conditions and temperatures.
