The rechargeable Surefire Maximus handles them by delivering an amazing 1,000 lumens of MaxVision Beam-shaped light that can be dialed down, lumen by lumen, to give you just the amount you need. Keep it on lower settings for closer work, preserving your dark-adapted vision and extending the runtime. Turn up the power to light any environment. Its large, knurled dial permits output control with one hand - even when gloved or numbed by cold. You can also rotate the light assembly up or down to aim the beam right where you want it. An SOS beacon provides an extra margin of safety for those who thrive on danger.
