Description

Knives of Alaska - Brown Bear / Cub Combo - Suregrip - 00003FG :
The Alaska Brown Bear Skinner/Cleaver was the first knife developed by professional Alaskan outfitter and bush pilot, Charles Allen. Made with the serious big game hunter in mind, the Brown Bear has been tested on some of the largest game animals in the world, such as Alaskan moose and brown bear. The Brown Bear is a heavy-duty cleaver and a practical skinning knife in one.

The Cub Bear Caping Knife is lightweight and designed for fine detail work. Field-tested alongside the Skinner/Cleavers in the Alaskan bush, the Cub Bear's overall length is 6-1/2" with a cutting edge of 2-3/4". This blade is ideal for fine caping.
Double finger grooves provide excellent grip for safety and control. The extremely fine point Razor-edged blade is perfect for close detail work. Features suregrip handles made from Santoprene, a thermoplastic elastomer that has excellent chemical degradation resistance and provides a slightly elastic soft sticky feel.

Together this
combination set teams the heavy-duty Brown Bear Skinner/Cleaver with the Cub Bear Caping Knife in the same beautiful oiled leather sheath for a complete hunting and field-dressing system.
